The indication of further information is optional. Your information is stored to answer your request and for possible follow-up questions. After completion of your request your personal data is automatically deleted.

Newsletter

On our website you have the possibility to subscribe to our Newsletter. Therefore we need your E-mail address and optionally for personification your name and first name. In addition we need your consent, that you agree to receive our Newsletter (“Consent”).

The registration for the Newsletter on our website is by Double-Opt-In procedures. After the registration you receive an E-mail to confirm your subscription. Without these informations a subscription to our Newsletter is not possible.

For the creation and maintenance of our Newsletter we use the distribution service provider „MailChimp“, a service of the Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. We pass E-mail address and optional infos to this provider for the handling and distribution of our Newsletter. The necessary data of your Newsletter subscription are stored web based on the servers of MailChimp in the United States. On our account MailChimp uses these informations to send out and evaluate the Newsletter.

The Newsletter contains a so-called “web beacon”, a pixel-sized file that is retrieved by the MailChimp server when the Newsletter is opened. In this context technical informations (informations about the browser and your system, your IP address, time of call of delivery) are stored. These informations are used to improve the service through technical data about target groups, reading habits and through the localisation of the call of delivery (by IP address) and the time of delivery.

Stored statistical informations include: if the newsletter is opened, when it is opened and what links are followed. Technical reasons make it possible to assign these informations to the subscriber. However, it is not our nor MailChimp’s aspiration to watch single subscribers. The evaluation is absolutely restricted to perceive the reading habits of our subscribers, to improve the content of our webpages and to send out valuable matched informations to our subscribers.

MailChimp is certified under the us-european agreement of data protection (Datenschutzabkommen) „Privacy Shield“ and thus guarantees to comply to the rules of the european GDPR.
We seriously support the protection of your data in the USA and therefore have made a “Data-Processing-Agreement“ with MailChimp based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. This enables a GDPR-compliant transfer and protection of your personal data to MailChimp. If you object to the statistical evaluation of your data you have to unsubscribe from our Newsletter. You can do this by following the Unsubscribe-link at the end of each Newsletter.
